Values:
We believe we need God and we need each other. That is why we are passionate about living relationally connected and accountable lives to one another. We benefit from each other’s stories, encouragement, and company. We eat together, do life together, and worship together. We challenge each other to become who God has called us to be. We are searching to be more than some type of false community. We want to matter to one another and be real in each other’s lives.
We are a text focused community. It is not achieving moral or intellectual superiority. It’s about knowing the heart of God. It’s about knowing how He has worked throughout history so that we will better understand how He works in our life each day.
We are passionate about sharing our everyday lives around making the glory of God known to all people. This means that we must become a voice to the oppressed. We have specifically chosen to make service the DNA of our community. We know that we can’t love God and neglect the poor and oppressed of our world. We want to serve a cause greater than ourselves and we really believe that God’s glory is revealed in the great things and the simple things.
